What is a Jego credit?
A
It is a Jego virtual currency. You can use Jego credits to make call to mobile and landlines worldwide at a very low price . Also, Jego credits can be used to purchase plan. 1 Jego credit is equal to 1 USD.

Do I need to pay for the international calls made from Jego?
A
Yes, you need to have enough Jego credit or subscribe service plan to make paid call*.
Remarks: * China mobile number registered customers who locate in Mainland China can use the free messaging services including text/voice messages and photo sharing. Other calling and paid functions (e.g. number binding, Pay as You Go, etc.) are available only when customers are travelling outside Mainland China.

How do I know if I have enough balance to make a paid call?
A
From the App's interface for paid call, available Jego credits will be displayed (while making outgoing call). You can also find it from “Settings – Account Mgt” in Jego app to check your current balance. - Of course, you can login to your Jego account online to check the balance.

How to arrange recharge in Jego web portal?

You can login to “My Account” page, click "Buy Credits” to arrange recharge.

How do I find the latest rate for calling different countries and regions from Jego?
A
You can login to Jego official website http://jego.me/rate/standard_rate.html?language_id=1 to find latest rates for different countries and regions. You may also check out the latest promotion on Jego website.

Will Jego Credit expire?
A
The validity period of free credit and Jego Credit are 180 days and 12 months respectively. The validity period of Jego credit will be extended by another 12 months after each recharge.

Does Jego offer refund policy?

Yes. You can check Jego’s latest refund policy in “Terms and Conditions – Refund Policy”.

How can I purchase Jego service plan?

Firstly, after choosing your plan, you can choose to settle the payment by Jego Credits or other payment method (like credit card) * You can also select “Auto-Renew” option to automatically renew your plan upon plan expiry date.  

Remarks: *Customer can either choose to fully settle the payment by Jego credits (please ensure you have enough credits in your Account) or credit card, or settle the payment by both credit card and Jego Credit (if you do not have enough Jego Credit to fully settle the payment).

Q.
Purchased a Jego service plan(including China/Hong Kong plans or number binding service), can I use it in Mainland China?
A
If you register Jego with a China number and locate in Mainland China, you would not be able to use the services provided in the plan. You can use full Jego services when you travel outside Mainland China. This service arrangement does not apply to users registered with non-China numbers.

Purchased a Jego service plan(including China/Hong Kong plans or number binding service), can I use it in Hong Kong?
A
Yes, you can use full Jego services.

Q.
What type of payment methods do Jego support?
A

You can either choose Visa/PayPal/UnionPay/AliPay to settle your payment or pay through your monthly CMHK bill.


Q.
How can I set up "Auto- Renew" for Jego plan?
A
You can choose to use your credit card *to activate “Auto-Renew” of plan, please ensure that you have already saved your credit card information in Jego web portal**.

If your Jego account has enough Jego credits, you can choose to renew the plan with the recharged credits.

*At this moment, only Visa will be accepted for “Auto-Renew” if you have chosen to renew the plan with credit card.

**The currency cannot be changed after your credit card information is saved.

When will the service plan take effect?
A
The service plan starts at the day of purchase. For example, a monthly China plan is purchased on 5 April (14:00), then the validity period is from 5 April 14:00 (Plan effective date) to 4 May (23:59). 

Q.
Do I need to pay for the data network fee when I use Jego for local or roaming calls?
A
If you use Jego via mobile data network, the fee for the data usage will be charged by your mobile data service provider.

Q.
Where can I check my purchase records?
A
You can login to “My Account” and click “Purchase Records” in Jego web portal to check for purchase records.

Q.
Can I purchase different combination of one specified plan ( i.e. purchase China plan with 400 minutes and China plan with 120 minutes at the same time)?
A
No. You cannot purchase different combination of one specified plan. For example, China plan with 400 minute and China Plan with 120 minutes cannot be allowed in one Jego Account whereas China plan with 120 minutes and HK plan with 120 minutes can be allowed. Also, you can purchase a China Plan with 120 minutes with any other non-China number rental plan. 

Q.
If there is still an effective plan in my account, can I purchase any plan?
A
You can do this but we don’t recommend because the new plan will replace the existing effective plan immediately.

Q.
If the call duration (in minute) of my calling plan has already been used up but the plan has not expired, can I purchase a new plan immediately?
A
Yes.

Q.
What is the benefit of saving credit card information in Jego web portal?
A
Saving your credit card information during purchase can save you the time to input your credit card information in every future purchase. If you want to enable “Auto-Renew”, you have to save your credit card information during purchase. 

Q.
How to delete my saved credit card information in Jego web portal?
A
You can login to “My Account” page and then go to “ My Account – Buy Jego Credits – Payment – Your saved card number” or “My Account – Buy Plan – Payment – Your saved card number” and click “Delete” (near to the credit card number) to delete your saved credit card information.

Q.
How to change my credit card information in Jego web portal?
A
If you need to change the saved credit card information, you can input the new information (after changed) and choose “Save My Card Information”; or if you want to save another credit card, please enter the new card information and choose “Save My Card Information”. Once purchase completed, the old card information will be replaced by the new card information immediately. 

Q.
Why I cannot change the currency of my saved credit card?
A
This is because when you save the credit card information, the system saves the transaction currency at the same time. If you want to change the currency, please use the same card (in another currency) to purchase again, then choose “Save My Card Information”, the currency of saved credit card will be changed accordingly.

Q.
Can I pay through monthly CMHK bill only for the Jego account registered with a CMHK number?
A
No. You can pay for Jego accounts registered with any mobile phone numbers through monthly CMHK bill with completion of payment number registration (in “Payment” page of “My Account – Buy Jego Credits” or “Buy Plan” and click “Register Payment No”). After the registration has been completed, you can input the customer password from CMHK to complete the payment.

How to change the current auto-renew settings for existing Jego plan?
A
You can check and change the auto-renew setting by login to your Jego account in Jego website and visit “My Account – My Credits & Plans – Active Plans” (including payment method and activate/de-activate the auto-renew setup).
